Note: There were originally two types of awards: "Mihara Award" and "Mihara Praise Award". However, due to the sharp decline in interest rates in Japan and to regulatory guidance, the Committee decided to suspend granting the "Mihara Praise Award" after 1996. In 2016, the Committee decided to resume granting the "Mihara Praise Award".
